Re-wiring our brains requires regular repetition and catching ourselves in a trigger or a big emotion before we react. It’s not easy and sometimes having regular reminders like posters stuck up can be helpful, thats why I made these cool (well I think so!) little posters. Enjoy!
Hello Little Brain
The little brain is our emotionally reactive part of our brain. Its where our fight and flight response comes from and its pretty fast. We need to pause and notice when our little brain has take over in order to get our big brain back online. Not much good ever comes when our little brain is running the show.
Hello Little One
Our little one is our inner child. Its the younger, vulnerable part of ourselves that we can easily get triggered into negatively when we experience a situation in our adult life that has a similar flavour to a situation we experienced and that hurt or shamed us as a child. Learning to look after that inner child and all of our inner children is healing and transformative.
